Ladies, we all know how important it is to make sure we’re wearing the right bra, an ill-fitting one can not only ruin your look, but can cause health problems down the track.
Well now popular Brisbane retailer Big Girls Don’t Cry (Anymore) has launched Australia’s first virtual bra fitting rooms, so women are able to get that perfect fit without even leaving the house.
“The service provides a fitting for somebody over Skype or Facetime that can’t come into our physical stores, so it’s more of a convenience. This is another way we can help ladies get the perfect fit, because it’s very important to make sure you have the perfect fit,” said owner Karen Edbrooke.
“We have customers all over the country and a lot of them live in remote areas. These customers are continually asking for fitting advice over the phone where we can only imagine how the bra is fitting, this allows us to see exactly how it’s fitting and give advice.”
Karen said she actually came up with idea after undergoing back surgery.
“I needed new bras and I thought, what do people do if they can’t come in? In a fitting room these days you’re educating the customer, you don’t necessarily have to touch them, so why not bring fittings to a customer in their own home from our actual fitting rooms.”
There was a time, and it wasn’t too long ago, that it was nearly impossible to find beautiful, well constructed, sexy plus size lingerie.
